I graduated from Indian Hills High School in Oakland, New Jersey 2011. In 2015, I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Music Compisition at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, where I now currently reside.
Experience
My previous tutoring experience is limited, however, having just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music with several specialty areas, I believe I will be a great tutor. I have plenty of experience helping my peers in various subjects that I have taken in the past. SAT: 1890 (Taken 2011) I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for teaching, learning, and communicating with people. Music is what I dedicate most of my time learning, so I believe tutoring in music will be extremely rewarding. Classes I have taken include: Music Theory I-IV, Music History I-III, Instrumentation & Orchestration, Form & Analysis, Intro to Conduction, Choral Conducting, String Instrumental Methods I, Woodwind Instrumental Methods I, Percussion Instrumental Methods I, Brass Instrumental Methods I, Voice Methods. Additionally I have taken lessons in Piano, Guitar, and Composition, and taken part in Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Choral Art Society. (All classes taken at Ohio Wesleyan). Additionally, I have performed as a freelancer in many styles, including solo piano (both classical and jazz), small jazz ensemble (playing piano), bar/restaurant rock band (playing piano, guitar, and singing), and bluegrass/folk ensembles, playing banjo. I have also worked in the praise band at Saint Andrew Christian Church, fulfilling various roles, including playing piano, playing guitar, playing banjo, singing lead, singing backup, running the soundboard, and many others. In high school, from ages 14-17 I worked as a snowboard instructor at the local Campgaw Mountain, in Mahwah, New Jersey. I have worked at West End House Camp in Parsonsfield, Maine over the summers of 2009-2012, and 2014-2015. There I worked as a Counselor-in-Training for one summer, a Junior Counselor for one summer, and Senior Counselor for four Summers. My responsibilities, outside of spending time with and monitoring campers aged 8-15, included driving the boat, teaching waterskiing, teaching music (guitar and piano), and periodically refereeing/coaching sports (soccer and waterpolo).

Hobbies
Music takes up a great deal of my time, and encompasses most of my hobbies and interests, many of which are listed under my experiences/qualifications. However, in my personal time, I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies/television series/documentaries, and spending time with friends and family. Although music is an academic focus of mine, and I spend several hours daily practicing piano, I still enjoy playing guitar or banjo as a past-time, and I spend much of my leisure time doing so.
